When you pay a professional photographer (like myself) for services, way more goes into it than most people understand. I have literally thousands of dollars of camera equipment, my computer, editing software and other accessories (batteries, memory cards, screen protectors, bags, my harness...) - THEN you have to deal with annual registration/filing fees, taxes, liability insurance, sometimes legal fees, etc. Again, this is all if your photographer is running a legal business, and I am!
okay...why is photography expensive in general?
Delivery time will be in your contract based on what you're booking with me! Expect a sneak within 72 hours though.
When will we get our photos?
Don't listen to Alanis, because I LOVE rainy weddings and we're going to have a great time! For sessions, we can endure light to moderate rain or reschedule!
What if it rains?
This is THE worst case scenario, and would only ever happen if it were completely beyond my control - illness, death, accident, etc. In this case I would do everything in my power to find a replacement photographer, however this is not a legal obligation (or a guaranteed possibility). In the event I could not find you a replacement, you will be refunded per your contract!
What if you can't make it to our wedding?
Collectively taking photos of...anything and everything? Literally my whole life. In a more serious manner? Since I was 18, and I'm 25 now.
How long have you been doing this?
You won't be with me. I take pride in my ability to use my awkwardness and dumb sense of humor to invoke genuine emotions in all my clients. The laughs, kisses and piggyback rides are all real.
What if we are camera-shy/nervous/uncomfortable?
because not everything is obvious, and questions aren't dumb.
